FLORIDA RULES OF SHOPPING CARTS

So as I was shopping in Winn Dixie the other day and I was pushing my cart down the vertical lane someone coming out of the horizontal aisle almost ran into me. And then she gave me a dirty look.  I didn’t say anything but I had the right of way. Florida Rules of Shopping Cart Law 5.1 states that any person approaching a vertical aisle from a horizontal aisle must come to a complete stop before entering the vertical aisle.  I wasn’t speeding, so she had plenty of time to see me had she stopped, which she did not. The speed limit according to Florida Rules of Shopping Cart Law 3.1 is 1.5 mile per hour. Basically the rules of shopping cart law mimic Florida’s traffic laws with obvious exceptions. The manager of the store and any of its agents have authority to issue Shopping Cart Infractions.
