In a setback for Police officers and Vampires everywhere (especially Vampire Police Officers), the Supreme Court Ruled in Missouri v. McNeely, 11-1425 ( US. Sct. 2013), that police cannot force a person arrested for a simple DUI to give up their blood without a search warrant. The head of the VAA (Vampires Association of America) on behalf of his association had written an Amicus Curiae to the Court asking the Court to by pass the Warrant requirement. Clarence Thomas ( an alleged vampire) was the only Justice who sided with the Vampires. In DUIS with serious bodily injury or death Vampires can still take blood without a warrant.
