Suntan+LotionA man in a fit of road rage squirted Sun Tan lotion thru the window of another driver who had the nerve to honk her horn at him. The man was arrested and charged with simple assault. Police said had he squirted Sun Screen Lotion instead of Sun Tan Lotion, he would not have been arrested. “Sun Screen helps prevent cancer, so it’s hard to charge someone with a crime when they’re trying to help someone. But Sun Tan lotion. That’s like trying to give someone cancer. In fact, the State Attorney’s office is considering charging him with aggravated assault because of the attempt to give the woman cancer,” said a spokesperson for the Merrimack police department in New Hampshire.

MERRIMACK, NH (CBS) – A 52-year-old man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly squirting sun tan lotion on a woman after a road rage incident in Merrimack on May 3.

The female victim says she was behind William Farrell Jr. at a red light on Route 101 in Nashua when she blew the horn to alert him that the light had turned green. She says Farrell kept slamming on his brakes as the two cars began traveling again.

When they both stopped at another light in Merrimack, the woman says Farrell got out of his car and squirted sun tan lotion on her vehicle and onto her hair and face through her open window.

Farrell turned himself in Wednesday and was arrested on a warrant for Simple Assault. He was released on $1,500 bail and will appear in court on June 4.
